Reina - 5 (was poor for the 1st, nearly dropped the ball when Ramires crossed under his bar as well) Johnson - 6 (was decent in defence and attack without being spectacular) Agger - 6 (didn't do much wrong) Skrtel - 5 (should have got closer and put in more effort for the block on Drogba's goal. Should have done better when presented with chance to make it 2-2) Enrique - 5 (poor for first goal. Either should have taken man / ball or just tracked the run. Didn't offer much in attack either and gave the ball away) Bellamy - 5 (poor, gave the ball away, didn't offer anything in attack) Henderson - 6 (nothing right, nothing wrong) Spearing - 4 (along with Enrique was at fault for first and should have made better attempt at tackle on Lampard for 2nd) Downing - 5 (had no 1 to aim at for first 60 minutes and even after Carroll did come on didn't put many decent crosses into box) Gerrard - 6 (didn't influence the game in the way he has done in the past) Suarez - 6 (was quite, didn't get enough support in 1st half and was crowded out by Chelsea's 6 defenders in last 20 mins) Kuyt - 6 (didn't have much time to make an influence) Carroll - 8 (one bright spark of the game. Won headers, held the ball up well, took his goal well and should have scored a second if it wasn't for a world class save)
I'm sad. I'm not angry and i don't feel like kicking the misses. Haven't read what's been said before so if I say the same things I'm sorry. Chelsea deserved it. The game lasts for 90 mins and we only played for 30 of them! Like a lot of people I was drawn towards the staring line-up but it didn't work. Apart from Gerrard there was nobody to create space and he was forced deeper and deeper in the first half. Spearings mistakes led to their goals. The lad has tried his best all of the games that he's played but he is no real substitute for Lucas. On the first goal I could not understand why Enrique went to the ball instead of staying goalside and covering the space. Carrol, single-handedly brought a passion to the team. great first goal for the big man - why hasn't he played like that all season? So, I suppose I have to discuss the goal that never was. Carroll is so convinced that he has scored he's raised his arms and run off the pitch. Check claims he clawed it out. But you CANNOT claw it out ie push if FORWARD and hit the underside of the bar unless the ball is over the line! Anyway the ref and the linesman are only human and no goal was given so that's, for me an end of the matter. I don't know where that leaves us and I'm not even going to speculate on the consequences of this loss. I'm getting pissed!!!
well done chelsea..drogba was great for the first 60 but then faded as did mata but you were far better over the 90. Carroll...what a turn up. he's been looking better and better over the last 6-7 games, come on and transformed the game for us. held up the ball and laid it off well, made chances, put terry on his arse when he scored. played realy well. i did say a couple of months back we should get rid but he's begining to show some great form and next season should start every game with Suarez. Suarez had a very quiet game but was isolated against 3 chelsea players till Carroll came on. we didn't turn up till it was all over...Well Done Chelsea.

just hate watching drogba celebrating at the end - he went down with a groin injury when Liverpool were on top - always having a lie down to break up play - i hate him more than any other footballer - when he celebrates he is showing that cheating can get you results - what a great respect campaign the fa have going
