well lads i dropped in when it started read though and found quite a bit of what i'd call utter rot.. maybe it calmed down and became banter then who knows, i just avoided it once i read the stuff i did... don't need the hassle so i did the mature and sensible thing in avoiding it rather than reacting. I waited for chris' offical mathc day thread he's done all season... so seeing its friday want to at all talk baout football yet?
Lawrence, Lawller, Byrne, Milne, Yates, Stevenson, Callaghan, Smith, Hunt, St. John, Thompson. Technically not the greatest side we've ever had nor the most successful in terms of trophies. lawler was a fantastic full back, better than most who followed from all the footage i've seen. I can't wait for tomorrow and hope we are talking more about this side than the side who won this in 1995, 2003 etc. i hope this side has the nucleus of a team we talk about for a long time.... I hope they go and win it first.
with respect, the thread i started was a pre match 'banter' thread, if was intended to be largely unmoderated otherwise it would all spill onto threads like this, if you cant handle a few sheep and scouser jokes then by all means stick to this thread, but personally i've had a laugh on the thread, as have many others as for keeping this thread 'clean', neither i, or the other mod (h bomb) can do anything to moderate this thread as its a cross board thread started on the liverpool board....
MITO, this thread has been 'clean' possible because of the existence of the BANTER thread. For the most part even that has been very mild considering some of the filth that WUMs have tried to post on our board.

Our Official Match Threads, have become a feature for every match we play. Always presented as a cross-thread, we have only had trouble with one side (Spurs). We have also enjoyed great threads with Norwich, Stoke and Sunderland which continued long after the match itself. I think Chris deserves praise for alway presenting the thread well which sets the tone for the rest of the thread to follow. Let's hope some more Cardiff fans can find their way here and we can talk together.

well, as i said before m8, if i didnt make that thread, an area where banter is allowed, then it would just find its way to this thread... would you prefer that? and to be fair, as foredeckdave says, point out where the seriously offensive stuff is? from what i've seen its just been light hearted stuff, any stuff which goes beyond that will be deleted, as always, but there hasnt been the need to
