The draw is scheduled to be made at 4.10PM tomorrow afternoon and we kick off at 4.30PM. So just before we kick-off.
oh right, thought they were always after the last game, hopefully the chance of another home draw will give us the extra impetus to make sure we win

http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/latest-news/i-wanted-to-be-stevie-g Brighton's Alan Navarro is relishing the prospect of playing on the same Anfield turf as Steven Gerrard and admits the Liverpool skipper was the man he always sought to emulate as a footballer. The pair trained together at youth level and Navarro signed his professional contract with the Reds at the same time as his fellow Scouser in 2000. However, their careers would take different paths with Gerrard going on to captain the club and Navarro failing to break into the first team before heading out on loan spells to Crewe and Tranmere. This Sunday could see him make his first ever competitive Anfield appearance and through experience he knows that Brighton will face a stern test if Gerrard is on the field. "I came through as a full-back but then they decided to try me in midfield and I played with Steven a few times," Navarro told LFC Weekly magazine. "It was a good thing but also a bad thing because you knew that you were going to be competing for a place with Steven. "I trained with him every day for a few seasons and he's a quality player. If he plays against us, he's going to be a constant threat. Everybody knew what he was going to go on to do. He was always head and shoulders above everyone else. "His football, his brain, his pace, his strength, the way he tackles; everything about him was brilliant. He was the player you wanted to be." "Anfield is a special place. I've always loved Liverpool and always will do. That's where I grew up and where I started my career so to go back there and play - if I'm named in the team - will all be a bit of a dream come true.
Something has got to give, maybe, but a draw 2-2 might be par. Liverpool, are undefeated at Anfield this season and the Albion have never lost an FA Cup tie at Anfield. Danger men: Vicente (Brighton) the most dangerous player on the pitch (if he is fit enough) to play. Incisive, deceptive and like a dagger in the heart of any defence in the world. Agger (Liverpool) which Brighton may not have the resources to prevent scoring, coming up from defence. Worrying. Johnson (Liverpool). If Johnson can get forward his long accurate passes on short clinical passes into the penalty area posed Man United a special problem and with Brighton missing their central dynamo Sparrow, it is worse for them than the lack of fitness of Scholes. Buckley (Brighton). His stamina and pass needs an defender of the quality of Enrique to negatise his pace and striking accuracy. Kazenga Lua lua (Brighton) a bit too fast for any defender to cope with, but if he does not get the ball in the first place? Substitute. Maxi (Liverpool). if Brighton are chasing the game looks like he may get enough space to cause damage. Gerrard (Liverpool) set pieces (corners) are more his forte than open play now. Can still win a game (or rather score a goal) in an instant. Forecast: 2-2 very watchable. I think Liverpool are well known. Surely they should be concentrating on fourth place in the Premier League and not concerned with the FA Cup? http://www.northstandchat.com/showthread.php?230718-Scouting-Report-for-Liverpool

Girls u-12 Ginga team won both games comfortably, Men's Ginga won first game 14-2. Busy ass day tomorrow with the futsal but will follow the game with me ol phone. Mon the reds, if we lose I blame MNS...............
We need to be aware of the problem we have when it comes to getting knocked out by teams starting with a letter B. 4 lower league teams have beaten us. Strong team needed.
We know full well that Kenny will play a strong team - although on the BBC site it says "Manager Kenny Dalglish has suggested that young full-backs Jon Flanagan and Jack Robinson may play a part. " - this probably suggests they'll be on the bench, hopefully. Although, I rate them I really want us to take this cup seriously. We have a chance of a cup double FFS Anyway - I don't care as this time next week I'll be on the train to Wembley
I will keep my eyes out for a ZZ Top lookalike next weekend Agree that Kenny will more than likely put out a strong team for this but I'd have no problem with a few of the youngsters starting today I think if the likes of Flanny and Robbo are good enough to be considered as back up for the first team and as I think many agree, a player like Sterling couldn't possibly be any worse at the moment than Downing and as Daydodoe pointed out the other day Cody is training with the first team so maybe one or two will get a bit of game time today Always helps with the atmosphere as well when a few of the youngsters are involved. Will be a tricky game today but home advantage (if it is an advantage at all this year) should see us through. Personally I'd like Suarez and Mandy to start, Luis to start putting recent events behind him and Mandy as I felt he was a little unlucky to be dropped down to the bench last week. YNWA
F.A. Cup 5th Round Sunday 19 February 2012 4:30 pm Liverpool v Brighton & Hove Albion Anfield please log in to view this image v please log in to view this image Scouting Report Liverpool v Brighton FA Cup 5th Rd. Kop Forum I expect a near 100% will expect Liverpool to win and it is about 50/50 whether their fans think that Liverpool should field a below full strength side. PS: I thought we would lose the home match by a larger margin (1-4). This time with our players fit and Liverpool looking competetent rather than really dangerous, I would go for a 2-2 draw. I think complacency might set in, despite knowing the dangers, Liverpool will not be able to help it. Liverpool First XI -------------------------------Reina---------------------------- -----------Johnson--------Skrtel---------Agger------Enrique--- -----------------------------Spearing--------------------------- ---------------Kuyt-----------Gerrard---------Bellamy------- -------------------------Suarez---------Carroll----------------- Kelly is favoured over Johnson by some. Carragher is still popular. Maxi is sometimes preferred to Kuyt. Adam gets lots of games. Downing has not been playing well. Doni is the reserve keeper. Henderson is a right footed midfielder with a lot of energy. Lucas would be an obvious starter but he is out for the season. Possible surprise packages: Raheem Sterling In the League Cup game, both sides played makeshift defences, the Liverpool back four was the their reserve team. And I am not sure how to describe the Albion back four on the day, that played OK after the nervousness at the beginning of the game (which lasted most of the first half). Something has got to give, maybe, but a draw 2-2 might be par. Liverpool, are undefeated at Anfield this season and the Albion have never lost an FA Cup tie at Anfield. Gerrard (Liverpool) Still a danger from set pieces, especially corners, if not quite so much from open play now. Forecast: 2-2 very watchable. History: And Kenny, to be a good manager you do not have to win the FA Cup. Bob Paisley never won the FA Cup especially not in his last year of 1983.
