Sama loses the ball just outside his box, Ajax push forward and it's a good save by Ward from an Ajax attacker. Unfortunately, the ball was played out to an Ajax attacker and he put the ball away. Went in off the post but it's 2-0 Ajax. Poor time to lose a goal and we've got a lot of work to do now.
Penalty shout for Liverpool... Ball was played in to Sterling and it didn't look like a penalty to be honest. Both players using their upper body strength. Sterling booked as well. Might have been for his reaction after not getting the pen.
Being honest, every time Ajax go forward, you worry that they will score. We look pretty but not very dangerous for most of it. The better team is winning.
It was always going to be tough. Ajax are a far better outfit than we are, we have a few decent individuals but team-wise not to their level. They beat Barca in their own backyard 3-0. Plus 2 of their players have played first team CL football. We're good don't get me wrong, just not strong enough throughout the team. Need an early goal
Hmm.. They need to get the hang of catching the ball. Just hitting the ball out isn't always good enough, like you can see with that goal
