fair enough, I might just be pissed off. I'll look at the replays later. Not a red, but I didn't catch the studs up after the ball part.
Too complacent from the start, tippy tappy football everywhere, should have sunk in that it wasn't working earlier. Substitutions should have been made earlier, Spearing wasn't doing well keeping Dempsey at bay and we needed Maxi to add something extra in the box.
That was another BONKERS decsion by the ref.Dempsey rubs is forehead in Bellamy face 3 times, Bellamy does nothin.Ref books both players. WORST REFEREEING PERFORMANCE IVE SEEN THIS SEASON FOR ME
you must not read your board much then after a defeat. Loads of your fans have commented on how you board is quiter when you win as you have loads of doom merchants
BUt who to come on for Spearing though if he wasn't doing that well? A lot of things to work on this week for the boys. RIght I am off, will pop on later after academy training, should be interesting that is for sure!
But gonzo, it's the same story every game against these teams. Hit the post, made chances bla bla, the fact is it's the same story each time. We're not being clinical and it's costing us big time.
Unlucky Liverpool, we've been in your shoes many a time this season. Glad we got the win this time. Good luck for the rest the season (except our visit to Anfield, of course)
Oh well, 3 points. Sure 4th will be tough but remember we were 12th around Christmas time but managed to push up to 6th by May. I'm sure we can rack up some points and pose a threat to the top four this season.
Rugby Tackles are allowed Rubbin/Head Butting is allowed Winning the ball isnt allowed ,and neither are ONSIDE goals Ref = MORON
The bad; that's twice this season I've seen someone walk past Glen like he wasn't there; good going forward, actually defending??? The Ugly; the ref was a joke; we get red for a follow through, fouls against Suarez for apparently self harm and a yellow for Bellamy for allowing Dempsey to Eskimo kiss him. Senderos & hangerland can apparently even defy the rugby union obstruction rules! Big toes not counting as keeping Suarez onside! The good; surely, SURELY we will get a run of games where the post bar and blade of grass won't keep out the chances we are creating..
Well done Fulham - 3 points when we just needed it, after 2 good away points at Sunderland and Arsenal. A point each might have also been fair, but as we found a few times recently (e.g. against Spurs, who played with 2 goalkeepers at one point), teams don't always get what they deserve. While its frustrating, don't blame the ref for everything - Did you not see that Bellamy's behaviour almost from the off was to get himself/any opponent near him wound-up; he was just waiting to pick up a couple of yellow cards? As for Suarez, if he goes in against a tall guy like Brede, what does he expect (at least trying to stay on his feet might have helped)? And yes, you hit the woodwork, but so did we.
I presume you didn't see Wigan vs. Blackburn? Newcastle vs. Chelsea (for that one Luiz challenge)? Suarez has to toughen up if he wants to continue his good form, way too weak overall today.
please log in to view this image This is the image captured on the BBC website of the tackle, doesn't seem like his trailing foot to me. Doesn't seem like Dembele is leaping over his leg to me. And Spearings second leg caught Dembele's leg as well. May be a visit to Spec savers for Christmas.
the teams we jumped over to 6th last season are different from the teams ahead of us this season. if we continue playing the way we are playing we won't go further than 6th this season.
To be fair, I don't think we'll finish any higher than 6th this season either. 7th might be pushing it too.
