hardly a dirty side of the track is there though, according to coulthards reports of the stewards sweeping the track clean all the time.
I foresee bits of car flying off at the first corner, and a hasty return to pits for some. Whether SC has to come out remains to be seen. Tyres once again to play a major role.
Congratulations to Massa for beating Alonso. I think Alonso will beat him off the line and Massa will be left behind. If Massa starts holding up Alonso, I hope Ferrrari tell Massa not to defend - sounds harsh, but has anyone noticed that Massa defends really hard and aggressive against Alonso but looks defeated when defending against anyone else? I don't want my boys to hit each other. Vettel predictably took pole but let's be clear... there is NO WAY that the Red Bull is marginally better than McLaren - Red Bull clearly had a lot more downforce and Button did a great job to come so close. Button is driver of the day for me.
Well played Button and Vettel, Hamilton unfortunately losing his flare.. surprised when he did not hug or cheer up a bit with Vettel and Button for the pictures, something is going seriously wrong for the guy. Well done Michael and Massa for putting in some strong times, I wish Rosberg could put a time in so I could see how much Michael has improved. He had him locked down all weekend.. Cannot wait for the race !!!!!!!
grr, just about to watch Q3 and i came on here to discuss Saubers chances and it's totally spoiled. As to Saubers chances, with high degradation expected, and Kamui getting to Q3, I think there's an outside chance of a podium for them here, their tyre management is the best by far, they could save 2 or 3 pit stops at suzuka if the high estimates are anything to go by.
So Hamilton set his fastest time on used options right? So he will have to start the race on them while the others will start on options that have had only an outlap, hotlap and inlap, looks like a short first stint for him. I think it will be a fight between Button and Vettel for the win.
Dont think it'll make two much differnce to be honest. Its one extra lap. Anyone for a thrilling 3 way battle tomorrow?
What I'd love to see for tomorrow - Webber getting one of his almighty starts, get past Vettel, Button, Hamilton, Massa and Alonso by the first corner and pull out his usual unassailable gap. He deserves to win one race this season.
haha possible but mark is famous for his slow starts this season, I expect Schumacher and the Ferraris to get mega starts
why does he? Button has had worse luck, is in a worse car, and is beating him, Alonso is in an even worse car, and is beating him, he hasn't helped his team-mate at all, and is only 14 points ahead of the constantly crashing Hamilton, who also is in a worse car. Oh, I see, he deserves it because he's Australian.
When was the last time someone became champion without their team mate winning a race? (at the time they became champ) Also, why is Senna in 9th and Petrov 10th when Petrov is consistantly faster all qualifying? Seems a bit unfair. If it was explained during the show, I didnt see it as i went to bed straight after, as i was up the night
Most of the time this year, its been down to the time in Q2. Seems a bit wrong to me if its to do with car numbers.
you're kidding right? Massa defends aggresively against everyone, he's crossed the line in fairness on more than one occasion from the first GP onwards
