Hope he runs the line well.... loves a shot at the near stick... be warned.
we followed protocol with the players taken off for first games 45mins. i hope we do a big block sub on 60mins now cos if we drop on players every 5 mins we won't see much... what a crowd... oh here goes bloody downing running back to his own half again...
I think fans will start to like it overtime, it's obviously very different to what we are all used to. I really don't mind it though.
ok, each to his own. lfc have never really settled on an away kit. white with black shorts was fine but utd wore it, then yellow was "ok" silver was awful but classic... I don't think this one is awful enough to become a classic.
downing is hilarious on the right. any full back half placed right on the pitch only needs to stick out a toe and the ball is theirs. he spends so much time cutting inside to pass back and then jus tplain turning round and running back to pass to the CBs that he hides how bad he is. then the one time he'll get by cos the full back is out of position he balloons the ball way past the far stick..... and he just got 62mins as first choice player.
