Yeah but in China he started P2. The plan is to get both McLaren's ahead of Vettel.

I expect the track to dry out over the grand prix if there is no rain, and give Hamilton the advantage of saving a fresh set of the option tyres.

Button loves to gamble, could work in his favour tbh.

Edit: porsche series now, 17 laps.

True but Button is on the clean side of he grid and Vettel might concentrate on Hamilton too much which could give Button a chance to get into the lead.
Although I would like both Mclarens to get by and it is a good run down to turn 1 so Mclaren could be strong with their KERS.

Button is due a good start and he tends to have one when he's near the front. (monza 10, china 11 and Monaco was OK as 2nd nearly always lost out to 3rd before that)

On a side not i love the "i wonder which McLaren will win" quotes from Alonso. Mind Games?

    Hamilton to smash the race.

Close one between the three teams.

True. Vettel has been known to pin the second place man to the wall if he gets away slowly Germany 2010 is a good example. I would love to see a McLaren one-two. Of course I support Lewis, but I would be more than happy to see Jenson pick up a victory in his 200th Grand Prix.

Also let's not rule out Alonso, the Ferrari might take a while to bring it's tyres into range and temp, but once that happens they are pretty match matching the Red Bulls and McLaren's.

I think Webber will lose places at the start, the work his way up and have a last lap battle with Massa, who would have spent nearly the whole race alone.

I think having big balls to overtake is a no no here, everyone's going wide on the run offs and losing 5 places every time.

    Greasy as anything...

you seem to be forgetting where the first corner is.button will have to overtake both lewis and vettel on the outside to take the lead.
i think that eventhough hamiltons on the dirty side, the fact he's on the inside may give him an advantage.

Or he gets a better start than Hamilton because he is on the clean side keeps in Vettel's slipstream jinks to the right and takes him on the inside. Simples. :emoticon-0105-wink:

That said if the rain has evened up the sides of the grid a bit then who knows what will happen.

I think it will help your man Jenson. Drying track and changeable conditions are Jenson's strong point. He can find grip where others cannot.
