zzzzzz. maybe the difference is the driver, if he thought he was really being sabotaged he wouldn't've signed his last contract extension and be trying to sign another one.
was hoping webber would take one for the team tmo and crash into hamilton, he cant even get that right, poor driver
Didn't see that, was doing several things at once. Wonder if alonso will mention it in a interview? Penalty for webber could spice up his race.
Good job from Seb, Lewis made a mistake at the last corner, but I think Hamilton and Button should pick Vettel off at the start tomorrow. Alonso will get past his teammate and pick off Vettel. Webber will be 4th. Podium in no order will be Hamilton Button Vettel. I will tell you lots tomorrow who I think will win.
ah man is that wakka from the original 606 board , you were such a troll back then hopefully youve carmed down a bit lol anyway i hope the mclarens give vettel havok tomorrow . Mclarens race pace is on par if not better so hopefull of a Lewis win , on a side note i hope button has a descent race aswell.
He didnt say anything, but he lost a couple of tenths in the last sector of his first lap (Compared to the 2nd lap) when he made no obvious mistake. Massa should find himself lucky to be ahead of him, Webber probably cost Alonso between 2nd and 4th.
I think Button could get past Hamilton at the start, but Hamilton's fresh set of options could help him re-pass Button later on in the race. Alonso will jump Massa at the start as well and will be up there with the Mclaren's and Vettel during the race.
I think it is good Massa is ahead of Alonso because that allowed Alonso to start from the clean side so should easily jump him at the start tomorrow.
Hopefully track temp will be low tomorrow to help McLarens. At one point in Q2 it looked so dark, I thought it was raining!
Seb has to hope of the 2 mclarens that jenson has the better start against Lewis and puts the focus off a seb overtake. It'll most likely be a good start by all 3 but no way in hell will seb be able to hold back an advantage that they have in the straights with it being that long. Don't think both mclarens will have it easy at the start with both ferrari's breathing down their necks, we all know how quick off the mark they are.
Massa is actually a good starter so he could get Button at the start. Webber though is poor at starting and he could be in danger of dropping back alot at turn 1 and 2. Especially with MSC near by.
webber doesn't look in good shape for tomorrow. he has rosberg behind/next to him, sutil behind and schumacher close. plus he is on the dirty side of the grid. if he has another bad start, i can see him dropping to 8th or 9th by the first corner...
Button is on the clean side but his starts have been dodgy this year to say the least, it will be interesting to watch him and also to see if Vettel feels the need to try and cover Hamilton.
It's heartbreaking to see Ferrari in 4th and 5th. The Ferrari is better than that. Maybe not good enough for pole but it was good enough to challenge the McLaren's and Alonso didn't get the job done. Congratulations to Felipe Massa for his best qualifying position of the year but I expected a lot more from Alonso. Vettel went out and did a great lap when it mattered. Hamilton and Alonso failed to do that. For the race, Hamilton needs to be aggressive into turn 1 because he can't let Vettel run away with the lead. Ferrari need to have good starts as well because they are terrible in sector 3 which will compromise them just before the DRS zone and makes overtaking even more difficult. Massa usually gets good starts but at this stage of the Championship I wouldn't be surprised to see Ferrari employing team orders.
someone made a good point somewhere at the mclaren's being good in sector 3, so if hamilton is close to vettel through the first couple of laps, he could use that advantage to pass him on the straight, or use it to make defending much easier if he gets past vettel at the start.
