Horrid Q3 for Schumacher, whatever Rosberg gets is now a benchmark that Michael is failing to reach, it is sad to watch.
Yes of course, but I disagreed with your opinion that Hamilton should be given a penalty for that. I do make mistakes and so does everyone.
I think Schumacher could still have quite a good race so it is not all over for him, although I am still hoping Rosberg finishes ahead of him. I think that is where the confusion came from, I was not saying in my opinion Hamilton should of got a penalty, I was saying that so far this season the stewards have been giving penalties whenever cars have made contact and was saying if they were going to remain consistent then Hamilton will be given a penalty.
Fantastic job by Hamilton, credit to Webber as well. Wasn't expecting Hamilton to split the Red Bulls, certainly not on merit. Hoping for a bit of rain tomorrow.
I'm not too upset with the final result in qualifying. Track temperature was low and therefore it was always going to be harder for Ferrari and therefore gave their rivals an advantage. On one hand you have Ferrari in 4th, outqualified by both Red Bull's and a McLaren. On the other hand you have a Ferrari struggling for tyre temperature and just 3 tenths away from the fastest Red Bull (which was "on the limit" according to Webber). Even with Hamilton's super lap and Ferrari's lack of tyre temperature, McLaren were slower than Ferrari in Sector 2 which indicates less downforce. McLaren must not get complacent because they still have a lot of work to do.
Well I for one am not going to argue with the GC results, I know first hand how accurate they are. Still, if a chemical contaminant in the new fuel system is the reason behind it (and I don't think any F1 team is stupid enough to not realise altering fuel would be noticed, or think they are clever enough to have added something undetectable by GC), then it's a shame it's going to cost Buemi. Still, it'll be interesting to see how he comes through the field. If the contaminated part was produced by a supplier, and not by Toro Rosso, do they have grounds for legal action? (Which seems to be all the rage these days)
For those who go on about illegal things hidden on cars (or Red Bulls to be more precise) I think that quote emphasises just how rigorous the scrutineers are.
To technical for me Forza. But anyway he will start from the pit lane and put on a wet setup if there is rain in the air for the start tomorrow.
So me putting Hamilton everyweek may finallly pay off as i forgot to do it in China........typical that he won that one.
Mr Alonso does a personal sum up for Not606 (well, not quite): Fairly realistic view from the guy with the most complete eyebrows on the grid. ------------ On the other hand Mr Massa is less chuffed: ------------ On a final note Mr Sutil is bigging himself up to be the dark horse of the race:
Last time I checked when it rained, vettel left everybody. Did the same in Canada before it started to dry up.
