The tyres are attached to the car are they not? It takes a well balanced car to make these tyres last and I think judging Lewis or Jenson as the problem would be a tad extreme considering they both went backwards on the races rather than forward.

So the car was the problem at Valencia and Silverstone and maybe still at Hockenheim considering this is looking like a repeat of freakish weather at Silverstone, ruining McLaren's chances of gathering data with these major upgrades again.

They bought 7-8 upgrades with the Silverstone weather and it resulted in their worst race of the season I believe. The same is being repeated here so you might be a tad on the mark if you think the same incidents will happen again like at Silverstone...

Doubtless Red Bull will find a strategy to catapult him through the field that they for some reason wouldn't be able to do if he was higher up the grid lol. Disappointing.
On another note, Silver why do you use the names Vettel, Perez, Rosberg and Maldonado in your sig?

Looks like it will be a wet qualifying then. Good, because Massimo Rivola said yesterday in a live chat that Ferrari were 0.3-0.4 behind Red Bull in qualifying, and the race depends on the tyres. Rain could take pole position away from Red Bull.

I thought Red Bull looked better on the primes than the options. Shame about all these grid penalties, especially if one of them qualifies on pole and has it taken away. I've still no idea which way this is going to go, same as Silverstone, it's complicated enough without the rain. Personally I don't think a wet session is needed to spice it up, so if it does rain I hope it's not enough to be red flagged.

From another forum - Stella's italian radio message to Alonso was that he's the fastest in sector 3 but the car looked a bit twitchy.

Good to see a dry P3, should give them all a good understanding of set up for the race, quali will be a lottory but overtaking is very possible here! Mark and Romain shouldnt be too concerned.

I would laugh if Rosberg, Grojsean and Webber had the first 3 places after today. None of them would be on pole and the press conference would be interesting to listen to since they would be starting 6th,7th,8th.

How ****ing offensive was that commercial? A financial services company (Hiscox insurance) claiming that there is still honour in business. Sickening.

Why does Vergne never go out at the end of Q1? Does his team want him out or something?
