He could leave big gaps in the middle if he decides to stroll forward when he should be holding which Suarez/Coutinho can exploit. Does add that extra bit of strength and mobility in the middle though.
Rossiter on the bench? Interesting choice there, good on him though. I thought Cissokho played alright against City and grew into the game, thought he should have kept his spot. Agger at LB? I hope he has a good game. He better be up and down the flank or we'll have awful width on the left and look really unbalanced.
Very pleased to see Cissokho out of the team. Every time I see him play he reaffirms my belief that he is the worst member of our squad by a country mile.
He's VC so with Gerrard out would have assumed he would. Suarez gave him the armband when he came on against Cardiff so don't expect any different today.
Im worried about the LB position. Both Agger and Sakho severely lack pace and the Chelsea wingers could have a field day. Plus neither of them offer anything going forward. As much as poor Cissokho is, i'd rather see him than a cb playing in that position. I really hope we come with all 3 points, and it's not tough by any means. Chelsea have been vulnerable at the back and the sort of attacking force we've got, we should cause them enough trouble.
