Nobody can say he dosen't deserve this. I am in a Joyful but somehow disbelieving mood. How the **** did he win that race. I had givem up all hope of even a top 5 finish with that puncture.
I don't remember the exact occasion but I know Schumacher incurred several when his transgressions were so obvious that the Stewards could not turn a blind eye for the sake of F1's credibility.
Amazing to still see some, even very respected, posters continue with this FIAt rubbish. Please stop it is embarrassing.
Well, the stewards have fortunately decided based on what they saw rather than what Ferrari want, but I don't think it's in any way a judgement on Button.
Unfortunately I was not able to be on here during race (watching it with people so would of been rather rude), but what a ****ing race! and what a drive by Button! from last to first and being about 2 secs a lap quicker than the rest, that was one of the best drives I have ever seen.
In the heat of the moment from this magnanimous result I'm only ever going to say this once and once only to all you fanboy Lewis fans out there... If you ever EVER! bring up Turkey 2010 again, I'll bring up Canada in a flash. Same goes for Monaco 2011, if you ever bring up Spa-Francorchamps 2010 on vettel. Now you understand why people have to underrate Lewis in every area you hype up. He's not the second coming of Senna, he's human and will make stupid mistakes time to time like any other driver on the grid. I don't care if you say Jenson saw him today, Webber saw Vettel coming in Turkey, yet vettel got blamed and roasted for it by your lot. Welcome to F1 where every race is ready to bite you in the ass...
But can you explain why, when Ferrari haven't won anything for over two seasons, they are still deemed so valuable as to receive extra money, because they're Ferrari? The FIA, and Ferrari too, need to realise they aren't as important to the sport as they used to be.
It was the race that had everything, including the mind numbing pause. Same again next time please, just with a McLaren 1,2 EDIT: and a shorter pause
Ferrari only get more money is because they signed a long term contract with Bernie sooner then the likes of McLaren or Williams.
Yeh, I guess it must have been a long term agreement, probably still from the Schumacher era of dominance. Anyone know if it's tied into the concorde agreement? If it is, I'd be very curious to see whether they maintain that agreement beyond 2012.
If you cut the 2 hour pause out it was one if the greatest races in history and if you leave it in it was still pretty good.
Who brings the most fans to the sport? There is your answer. Same as to why Man U recieve more Sky money
Dear NSPCA, This is not the view of Not606 as a whole I'm not remotely sleepy, I quite like evening GP's, especially when the weathers crappy outside. Austin will give us another evening race next year
