Lee mentioned Buttons radio comment so that does seem like shes angling for a negative response. interviewers are paid wums like Genji said!
Well... that was surprisingly convincing! I've been stalking this forum for a while - mightas well sign up. I don't have sound on my laptop(in library..) so what was Lewis' saying about his incidents? He's awfully clumsy recently... but **** quick. He seemed to be strangely faster than everyone in front of him for some reason.
Ok, this is a speculative question. If the Mclaren mechanics can get Hamilton's car repaired, could they theoretically, despite being 16 laps down? With a lot of retirements, he could salvage a point or two. Or is restarting a retired car banned under the regulations. (NB: I've only got the radio, so I've not seen the damage to his Mclaren, I don't know if its truly beyond repair)
He said that Button kept moving across, and he wasn't sure whether Button had seen him. He got halfway alongside and then found himself in the wall. He's now supporting Button to pick some points up. Welcome to the forum by the way, always nice to see new faces. We're mostly a reasonable bunch, although I do apologise in advance if the forum goes a little mental post-race! Rocky (Vettel's engineer) reckons the rain won't allow the rain to start for half an hour, and David Croft on five live thinks the drains are starting to get blocked. If so, that might mean a complete abandonment.
Well, he could probably take most of the drivers out as he unlaps himself, so that would solve some of the problems!
ok a little red flag quiz , no internet How many red flags have there been since 2000 ? Korea, Julius Caesar When was the first ever red flag ? Where was the only red flag in 2010 ?
Willkommen! Thanks for signing up. Nothing very controversial. We lost the feed when Lee McKenzie told him Button had said, "What's he doing?" but at the end he said he'd stick around and try to support the team, hoping Button could score some good point. He seemed quite critical of the team, saying he thought he just had a puncture and wanted to get back to the pits but the team told him to stop. When he checked it actually was just a puncture. EDIT: Ted just reported that McLaren confirmed there was further damage. Yeah, what DHC said, really, and: This place can get a tad fractious if Hamilton has a bad race - we get invaded by Hamilton trolls trying to defend the indefensible.
Button checked his mirror to make sure Hamilton wasn't coming past, which at that point he wasn't. Brundle's wrong.
Mclaren mechanics cleaning up and working on Lewis Hamilton's car....was I right??? Or they might just run him to collect data for wet weather running. Also, how far back to they count back before the Red Flag in the event of an abandonment, does anyone know? Would the order be different from the current order? Apparently Force India mechanics have stuck a nodding dog on Di Resta's car, just for the giggles.
