Australia He was closing in on Vettel before he went off and broke his floor. He would of also taken the lead if they didn't allow Vettel to take 2 laps of the fresher tyres to increase the gap. Before then he was breathing down Sebs neck and having no KERS to respond with the McLaren. Monaco: He accepted to stay in the pits at Q3 and not do a banker lap before Perez's crash, he was going to be up there with Seb if he did a banker lap, no doubt about it. With Sebastian's problems in the pits that day, Lewis would of most likely been leading ahead of Button. And if I look at it in another way, Seb would of finished 50+ points in front of Lewis last year if (Bahrain, Australia, Canada, Britain and Korea ) were all failure free, but people seem to forget because his name is Sebastian Vettel and it's always the car...
Australia he was well behind and Seb had it under control. Monaco the team held him back. He shouted on the radio but they wouldn't let him go out.
After the floor being broken he had it under control yeah, but I don't think Sebastian had him in his pocket. Lewis was pushing him all the way until then. Hamilton even admitted he had the pace for pole for Monaco, "I'm certain of that": Start at 1:00 I'm not knocking Lewis and trying to say it's entirely his fault, but also pointing out that he hasn't had the luck with the car, as well as messing it up once or twice through the season. Out of the last 3 seasons with Lewis' cars this one is the best he's been given. It did make Newey flap two or three times
Yes but he wanted to go out and the team kept him in. Anyway let's move on mate. Your boy will win another title, so have a party.
But why was he so hesitant to not go: "Well if Jenson is allowed out and do a lap, so am I." I find it upsetting that Lewis felt that way since Button can call more shots with his results. Maybe the team were trying another China...
Australia - He started so far back that overtaking some of the cars in front were easy with KERS. Still, he pulled off some decent overtakes but it all came to nothing when Hamilton lied to the stewards to steal a podium from Trulli. Final result was DSQ anyway. Malaysia - Uses KERS to gain two places at the start and doesn't do much after that. Others in front of him suffered from bad luck and Hamilton got overtaken as well. Rubbish drive to 7th. China - Pulled off a few overtakes, but also made mistakes and in the end was overtaken and beaten by his teammate. Far from an exceptional drive. Bahrain - 4th fastest car, KERS advantage at the start saw him gain a few places. From there he went backwards. Overall a good drive, but nothing special.
