I'm tentatively happy with that. Although I'd like to see what the McLarens could do in the rain I'm more interested in what Alonso can manage if Ferrari has made a step change in the development of the F150º Italia. If Alonso can win this I'll be just as excited as I was after Button's Canadian victory.
I fully expect Alonso to jump Vettel and challenge Webber off the start, Alonso is on the clean side and recently has been beasting his starts. I think there is a chance Massa could possibly jump Vettel as well because he has been starting very well also (his start at Valencia was amazing) and Vettel could be focused too much on trying to keep Alonso behind him.
try actually standing in a crowd of lewis fans cheering alonso at silverstone.... they stole my vu vu zela =(
I hope Webber wins. He needs it most out of the top three. Of course Alonso is my second pick, but overall anyone can win but Vettel.
Can we have weather like this famous British Grand Prix...?? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/8102021.stm
You seem to dislike Vettel. Why do you have him in your avatar? Edit: dislike may be too strong a term let me rephrase, you certainly dont seem to be supporting him.
No, I am sure everyone here doesn't want him to win apart from Vettel fans. Reason being I want a fight for the championship, not a procession. I don't hate him, he's my second favourite driver. It's the fact we just need someone else to win until we are level on points with him. As for my avatar, it supposed to look like Vettel is happy with second as he always puts that number 1 finger and in the avatar you can clearly see he has 2 fingers up.
Well I think it was very debatable whether doing your penalty on the last lap is allowed, IMO it shouldn't be allowed as your just maximizing the gap to competitors. Infact I still don't know why he got the penalty....
I have wondered the same thing myself... Then I looked at my own avatar... Hmmm... There are so many finger-based avatars on here, incidentally.
---- Engine performance turned down for reliability - Renault http://en.espnf1.com/greatbritain/motorsport/story/53842.html Renault Sport has had to reduce the performance of its engines to ensure they are reliable under the exhaust regulations for the British Grand Prix. When Renault team boss Eric Boullier was asked if he had any reliability concerns ahead of the race, he said: "We have some." ----- I wonder if a Renault engine blows up during the race, will the Renault powered teams protest against the result?
I think Vettel or Alonso will win, the sun is out here in Northamptonshire and no sign on black clouds which is pretty annoying. The top 3 might collide at the start and that we be good for me being a Mclaren fan.
