My fanboyism is kicking in, apart from holding up faster cars and battling them, making class overtakes and putting in the lap times to stay near the front-runners, nursing a **** car with one less gear and a pure hatred for tyres, outracing his teammate also, why has MSC got 8?

Poor qualifying? It's Autosport, it could be because they didn't like his haircut quite frankly.

Poor qualifying, but if this was 2010 and he was getting his arse handed to him by Nico I would understand.
But yeah I take your point that they rate on the basis of stupid things.

doesnt make any sense as lewis only tweeted the teleletry to explain why he was so slow.he had never ever been that much slower than jenson in quali before.
jenson has been that much slower than lewis many times,so it would have been normal the other way round.
lewis was quickest in fp2,so its business as usual,it would have been the same last week if they had of both had the same wing in quali.

I love it when Hamelots make assumptions that would probably be untrue.

Button was in the zone last weekend, Hamilton wouldn't have matched him even with the same wing.

Hamilton didnt want the wing. That's his fault. He'll be going back to depressed 2011 mode soon.

Didn't you know Kyle - GUEST thinks that they replaced Lewis's car with an HRT and gave it a paint job! :smiley-finger007:

started in 13th finished in 7th, 6 cars in front of him on the grid had their races ended before la source, Perez, Kobayashi, Maldonado, Grosjean, Hamilton & Alonso, and bumped him up to 5th, basically he lost 2 places during the actual race, and his great overtaking was done courtesy of his DDRS.

P.S. do we have wing-gate part 2, when one driver doesn't want the wing then changes his mind?????

    And the excuse for Nico....?

You cannot void drivers results when accidents happen. Michael did the best for the team that weekend, and from the situation he was in, the terrible car and strategy I think he did a-ok.
Anyway before this escalates, I am watching some TV.

To be honest I think Nico did pretty well from pretty much last, in a pretty meh car he was 2 seconds from points. On a dodgy strategy. If he didnt have the grid penalty I feel he'd have been close to Schuey.
