Can I change my vote to Jacko? I want his babies after the last 3 weeks!
What a turn around, ever since the Bristol City game he has been a different player, with so much more confidence.

    PS - Sorry Holty!

There is only one winner in my eyes -

"The 25-year-old right-back has played every minute of every game in City's league campaign this season"

Does it get any better than this - goals are very important but sometimes we forget about the other stuff.

Couple this with the winning goal against QPR, the equaliser against Cardiff and the "80" yd run to put Ipswich to the sword and jobs a good 'un.

I salute you Russel Martin (it was also the much under-rated position I played)

    Am I biased - Yes.

I echo your sentiments Beeston. Martin for me has been outstanding in his position and has contributed to the menace in attack from a place on the park that has not seen our full backs bombing up the line since the days of Bowen and Culverhouse. Of course the Matador Holt is of mythical status to me and he deserves all the plaudits available, and throughout the season he has provoked and cajoled, and this I believe has inspired the likes of Martin et al to approach games in similar fashion. I too was a lonely full back through school day football and I too may be a little biased as when you see how Martin reads the game, you're like "yes...yes....ohhhhhh......smash/goal YESSSSSSSSSSSS" Happy days.
