First post (a lurker for ages but hey, it's a new season) so here goes: Heart .................. 0-5 Head .................. 1-3 Common sense ... 3 points please
Rumour going about is that the startin 11 for tomorrow is Pepe Kelly Skrts Dagger Jonno Stevie Lucas Allen Downing Suarez Borini This rumour come about cos all the lads above where all wearing orange bibs in training today, all the other lads where green bibs.Enrique nowhere to be seen maybe/probably picked up a knock
Just had a quick look to make sure it is not on TV (it's not so I'll be right here watching it ) but also noticed that neither of the Hearts games are on TV, WTF...?
In that case, whoever is in charge of the fixture list on the LFC website needs a pitch fork shoving up their ****ing arse! Or, maybe a stern word will suffice...
With Steven expecting anytime soon expect him to play a deeper role with less exertion. please log in to view this image If it's a boy their calling him Bluff and if it's a girl they're considering Wishi.
We play WBA tomorrow... and don't call us hearts. As for WBA- should be easy to beat... They have a bird on their badge for chrissake how tough can they be? Thirlled the season is finally underway- stinks it starts up on my anniversary... but it starts nonetheless... I really don't know what to expect... You can never tell much from a first game of a season- but I really want to hit the ground running... this kind of game is one you really need to win if you want to be top four... being first game of the season though all bets are off... ... remember we have some difficult games just round the corner. 0-3 is my prediction with Messi scoring 2 (oh, I'm expecting a player trade- Adam with Messi sometime this evening).
Last season we started against Sunderland, Richards should have been sent off, Suarez shouldve scored penalty, we hit post (probably) and ended up with an unlucky draw.....the rest of the season played out exactly the same. The first match is important, need all 3 points, end of.
The 2nd 11 should play Hearts, the first 11 should be kept fresh for Citeh CL qualification has to priority 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and 10 With the cups nowhere near as important The like of Cole,Hendo,Coates,Carra,Raheem,Jack Robbo,Carroll,Adam should all play v Hearts
seems a good a time as any to start welcome to the board. Just happy that the season is here at long last and hope that your heart is right about the score.
I agree somewhat but disagree somewhat. Yes, Premier League- highest league spot possible is THE priority. However, right now fatigue is not the concern- it's getting the first XI to play cohesively with experience together in Rodders formation/strategy. Hearts will be a great "learning-experience" ahead of the city game... as many games together as we can get is best. I also don't think it is wise to underestimate Hearts... we should beat them with a second XI- but why risk it... I think the Scottish league is poor compared to the Prem league- but not as much as many like to believe. I'd go with a strong team against Hearts- maybe rest the older players in our first XI... but play the fitter, younger players.
I have wondered on occasion if anybody does read it! To be fair, i'm not too bothered if you lot don't read it but if the guests see this thread and the layout of the match thread and think that this will be a good forum to talk about Liverpool and decide to sign up, the previews and all of that stuff have done their job. Excellent work Noblelox!
Chris, what you should do next time is write a load of **** that has nothing to do with the match. See who says it's a good thread then.
