One thing that could come out of today. It's a clear message to the owners that they will have to open their wallets alot wider if they want to get anywhere near CL next year. And more importantly, Cole should go and Downing is the ****est winger in the EPL
Positives are first half we did keep the ball well and created some chances ( negative if of course not finsihing) once the red card happened and the pens that was game over. But this is surely a wake up call for everyone, players, manager, owners, that we have to be better all around, need to dig a bit deeper in the pockets, work that bit harder, figure out the system to work with the players at your disposal, note the defending could be worked on a bit better, etc.
