Billy El Your last comment/s we're put brilliantly well said. Coming from a long suffering Stoke fan, I've seen plenty of **** football in the last few seasons. Now we are improving slowly but surely playing some very good football. I said before the game that I did'nt think it would be a bore draw, so it proved. Thanks for you construtive comments, as Stoke fans we appreciate it. Liverpool? You will be fine and if we finished above you I would be over the moon. YOU will get better and one bad performance result means nothing. A top half finish for a team like Stoke City would be progress, that's all we can ask for in reality. Saw the game, best team won IMHO, we (LFC) have no devine right to win any game, it has to be earned, Stoke earnt it! Can't say I've been a fan of their brand of football in the past, but you could see in the game yesterday that they are trying to expand, fair play! We're not the worst team in the league after a defeat and we're not the best team in the league after a couple of wins, people need to calm down on the knee-jerk reactions, we're a work in progress, give the man some time FFS!
I haven't been on since the game because I was feeling grumpy and didn't want to read all the doom and gloom all over again. I haven't read back on this thread either so I don't know what's been said. Just want to say I thought Stoke thoroughly deserved their win and congratulations to them. No complaints from me. As for us, we keep saying we're a work in progress so let's learn from this and move on to the next game.
