Disappointing second half, but we did what we don't normally do and score early after making plenty of chances. Shut the game out well in the end, professional job. Nice and easy 3 points and up to 9th, 5 from the bitters.
can't get over-excited...good win over a poor team, maybe should have had more goals but took the foot off the gas. harder games to come but a good finish to the year.
Good day's work. Excellent first-half performance. You could argue that Q.P.R were poor and that made a significant contribution to the first half but we had to take advantage of that and we did. Nice to get some early goals which allowed us to relax and play our stuff. Suarez was excellent once again and moves up to 13 Premier League goals... Not too shabby! Second half Q.P.R reacted as you would expect them to be. We didn't play as well in the first-half but we had the job done in the first half so there wasn't any need to be massively urgent but it would have nice to keep that level of play up. Many of us were worried about today's game so it's nice to get the job done and end a disappointing 2012 (In terms of league performances) on a high. Bring on Sunderland on Wednesday!

Let's not forget the players were probably under instruction to just close the game down and not try too hard going forward in the second half as we have another game in a couple of days. Much better to save the legs so we can be 100% throughout that game if need be.

A slight downside to today's victory...
