As a kid living in london i always liked liverpool but the obvious distance problem saw me drawn to my local team -QPR

I was at the end of the highway, Fairclough, toshack era and saw Rush come in then with some other greats. loved the "spice boys"era and Macmannaman was always a favourite of mine. Deserved his move to Real IMHO.

Anyway, from the outside looking in, both teams need a win badly and the smart money has to be on Liverpool.
However...Stevie g has spectacularly imploded over the last few seasons and i dont see anyone else in your midfield that can deal with the streght and power of M'Bia.
TBH the rest of our team can be good when the decide they want to but consistency i a major factor.
We've got a great keeper in Caesar and some good talent around the park..would just be nice if they actually got to know each other!
Sadly think the best we can do is a 2-1 (never gonna get a clean sheet) but would take a 1-1.
Reality says 3-0 to the reds...! just praying saurez does not play !

Good luck for the rest of the season after sunday of course

    UUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR'ssssssssssssssssssss
    Keep the faith!

on paper we should be favs but we know that is never the case.

i feat this game to be honest as we seem to be going through a phase where all the wrong records are being broken and i fear this will be another, it would be sods law that this will be Harrys first win as QPR manager(think that's correct?)

i will go for a scrapy 2-1 win to QPR and hope i have jinxed it and we ass whoop lol but don't see it sadly.

  3. Hasn't Green been playing ahead of him in recent games...?

Even against a side that struggles to score goals...?

With him being an ex-QPR player, how do you feel about Raheem Sterling...?

Yeah Green has been playing in front of him, but only because he got injured and Green replaced him. Its not a very popular choice with fans.

As for Stirling, those that actually know he was one of ours have said he wil get a clap from the home crowd. its not his fault our youth policy is **** and a bigger better club came in for him. I hope he does us proud.
Certainly nothing against the kid. hope he makes it big time.
How could any decent QPR fan hold that against him?..Just hope scores an own goal that gives us the 2-1 win...

  5. I didn't mean it in that way. I meant how do you rate him? Are you concerned about him playing against a former club? etc <ok>

Bring back Sterling for this. Maybe Allen. They should be better now after a rest.

  8. I agree and I think Shelvey should be the one to make way for Sterling too...

    Reina
    Johnson - Skrtel - Agger - Enrique
    Gerrard - Lucas - Allen
    Suso - Suarez - Sterling

Let Gerrard, Suso and Allen roam about, get forward and play inter-changing passing football with Suarez.

Sounds good to me. But I would also fancy Cole for a goal if he plays.

Aston Villa are getting hammered by Wigan. Every one thrashes them except us. We are better than Wigan!

Pre-match thread is a bit quiet today.

We absolutely need a win today, anything less is just not good enough. I'll take a scrappy 1-0 win if that's what it takes but the 3 points are crucial. Hopefully with a bit of a push after the New Year we'll start moving up the table.

At some point this season we'll start stringing the wins together, I just know it. But until then we need to keep winning games against the bottom teams, even if we do drop off a little bit against the midtable teams.

Brad Jones is the only player not travelling luckily. Also this should be bad news but I can't help but think we'll win now.

John Aldridge just posted the supposed team on Twatter (Not official i know but as close as you can get really)

    Reina-Johnson-Agger-Skrtel-Enrique-Gerrard-Allen-Henderson-Downing-Suarez-Sterling.

Rodgers staying at home ill. My prediction of 2-1 to QPR stands..

I hope Rodgers gets well soon but had to chuckle at this little stat.....

Brendan Rodgers will miss Liverpool's game against QPR today because of a virus having 86% possession of him. <laugh>
