What I'm encouraged about is our summer buys. When BR has had time to assess the squad and buy players, he's brought Sturridge & Coutinho. 2 things we needed, a proper CF and a playmaker. Both have been awesome since they've joined. I think you have to look at the Allen & Borini transfers a bit differently. He'd only just joined, didn't really know the club so brought 2 players he knew and had worked with previously and I don't think you can judge him for that. Hopefully in the summer he'll find a couple more players that have the impact that Sturridge & Coutinho have had, and continue to develop the likes of Henderson, Downing, Sterling, Wisdom and the other young players.
Great pass from Henderson, again I stand by my point, he's one of the best 1 touch passers of the ball I've seen in a while Sturridge should have just taken it on and hit it instead of pissing around with it!
