I know everyone else is living in the future... but for me just watched Sturridge hit side netting... look on face was priceless:

    "WHO MOVED THE NET?"

Well done United: did enough in the first half then closed shop when you needed to.

Brendan seems at least to be able to change it mid game but he gets his tactics wrong too often in the first half.

    More action than reaction please.

Bad result today because of the first half, but the second half line up and performance is encouraging for the rest of the season.

    And Allen shouldn't have started.

Though I think that's already been mentioned.. <whistle>

If that second half is a sifn of thibgs to cone then i am satisfied. Sturridge could have got more goals but to be fair he isnt 100% yet so i will let him off.....this once :)

Good second half. Sturridge looked promising and got his debut goal.

**** first half cost us dearly.

Shambolic first half gifted them the 3 points. Rodgers may get praise for his substitutions but he only had to make them because he ****ed up the starting line up. If it was so obvious to us then why not to him he's supposed to be the ****ing expert.

just wait for the 95th minute when Suarez does an overhead kick ala Ibrahimovic and levels before we nick the ball and Gerrard lobs the keeper from the half way line to win it <whistle>

Yeah he hasn't played regularly in ages.

    Actually surprisingly sharp given this.

Across the whole of the game United deserved their win. We didn't play until the 2nd half. There were 2 occasions in the 2nd hald where the ball would just not sit down for both Sturridge and Suarez. I'm pissed at the result but less so than at Half Time

This, lets just move on and hope we can get a result at City and/or Arsenal.

Looking forward to a Borini-Suarez-Sturridge partnership in the future. Looked quite tasty <ok>

Sturridge starting instead of Allen and we would've had a better chance of winning but when you are losing then it takes the pressure off the players and makes it easier to play so I wouldn't read too much into today's 2nd half performance.

I wouldn't get used to it. I would bet quite a bit that Rodgers continues with downing and/or sterling

Positives, last 20minutes we put them under real pressure and Sturridge looked very lively, especially linking up well with Suarez. He is a bit greedy, but he's greedy in the box and thats not a bad thing in my opinion.

Not to jump on the bashing of players but Downing/Sterling were both poor today, didn't offer anything going forward or defensively. Allen was poor, he's out of form, give him a few games out in the same way Henderon had a period out and came back stronger.

Does that mean we have to concentrate on the first half performance? <wah> I'm not sure I can face doing that tbh.

Excellent 2nd half performance from the reds, very unlucky not to get a point. But I dont want unlucky brave losers

BR needs to stop with the Allen love in, he isnt worthy to be in the 11 at the mo. Select on form and not favourites, and BR wont go far wrong, he mostly is ( more than Kenny ), but he still has his faves

Stuuridge at 9 , and Suarez at 10 looks VERY interesting, they look to have gelled already

Last 20 mins , we was all over them like a cheap suit, so much so that Fergie spent more time lookin at his watch than the match

BRs tactics need to be more aggressive FROM THE START, we looked like a TOP 10 european side 2nd half , last 20 we battered them

    Wanna see

    Ince Suarez Sterling
    Sturridge

    next week

Plenty to work with, but dont wanna be unlucky losers, I think we are starting to look like we could become a top side

I don't know how the fOck we couldn't even pull off a draw. Honestly ManU has a pretty awful team, there defence is slow, Midfield is pathetic and only RVP standouts. even spurs beat them there, i see city more dangerous than these fOkin ****Z. if we had the same mentality in the 1st half as in the 2nd we could have won it. He kept playing his lovechild when he was clearly the most awful player on the pitch by half time, ****in arrogance i'll call that. Nothing's worse than loosin to these f**kS.
