We are just two points behind Spurs. Who we play in two weeks. Young Boys and Spurs first though. A fantastic day of result for us.
"very"...? I may have pointed a minor thing out but I wouldn't have been 'very' critical Besides, I was rushing
Chelsea do make a habit of throwing money at teams who beat them to acquire players, perhaps they will attempt to throw money at WBA for Steve Clarke. They did it for Torres but look how that turned out for them.
Clean sheet from Reina was great. He deserves that, but so do the defense -- who were also good. Henderson and Allen worked very well together and we seemed more composed, if less creative, without Suso (who I hope wasn't injured too badly as we need him fit). Enrique had a marvelous game, one of his finest in red. Suarez was his usual mercurial self and will be annoyed he didn't get the hat-trick he deserved. Edit: Note that we won 3-0 and there are no other (non-LFC) fans on here at all. Quelle surprise! I am agog with puzzlement.
I still say we should drop Allen and start Hendo, Gerrard and Suso. More more solid defensively and we can keep the ball just as well.
From BBC Website: Liverpool are unbeaten in seven matches and now have something to build on. But their reliance on Suarez is a cause for concern for Rodgers and today's victory, while welcome, was further evidence of that. The media are gutted he is no longer causing controversy that they have to instead try take small digs elsewhere. Yes we all know he is scoring, and all the time he is scoring what's the problem? If he stops scoring and so do we then yes, you can say we are reliant on him, but if he stops scoring and someone else steps up in his absense then whats the problem? If he plays and scores in every game this season then it makes no difference that we are relying on him does it?! P.S Enrique also scored so would have bene 1-0 without Suarez's goals
Can't blame him for wanting to go home, he was regularly sat on the bench even after some fantastic appearances.
Also, worth pointing out that Wigan played some good football today and up until our first goal they frustrated the hell out of us, fair play Edit: Oh and Ben Watson broke his leg today, hopefully he'll have a speedy recovery

What little hair he possesses is being pulled out fast." You can see what he comes up with at 2230 GMT on BBC One. There is no obvious 'last game' to me. It might have to be Newcastle or Liverpool...
Apparently Ben Watson broke his leg during the game today when he had to come off. Listening to football focus they said he walked off? Brave or an idiot? Either way, not nice and hope he recovers soon
