I'd very much like to retract my earlier complement on how he set his team up for a point well. The guy is a Grade A penis.

 

Well Sunderland are 1 up.

 

Prime chance today for us to win and stay in the mix. Spurs losing, Chelsea losing. So tight around the EL/CL places and then there's us floundering below in 7th having missed our chances to be in the mix

 

Scrap that, spurs have scraped a goal to equalise

 

I really don't think today has made any difference in regards to catching Chelsea or Spurs, both of whom are very much out of our reach. The only team we could possibly catch now in my opinion is Everton.

 

6 games left and only 8 points between 7th and 3rd...yup, season is totally over already! #sarcasm

 

I know, it would have been nice to be up there challenging though and land a very respectable 5th place

 

It's only 7 points.. however Arsenal, Everton & Chelsea all have a game in hand over us. 6th would be highest I think we could get and that requires us to pretty much win our 6 remaining games, and hope Everton lose a couple more including the one against us.

 

7th- 49 points
3rd- 57 points

As for the game in hand we have to play both Everton and Chelsea. Arsenal have to play United and Everton. Chelsea have Tottenham, us, Utd and Everton.

 

That's what pisses me off the most, We really had an opportunity to catch up, with the other games going in our favor but we end ****ing up ours.

The slow buildup to our game is ****ing frustrating to watch, BR's love for possession but doing **** all with it, is costing us dearly.
We win back possesion and then allow WH to settle onto the positions and then start play. The tempo is awfully slow at times.

This really was there to be won, ****ing no passion or hunger shown by the players again stopped us from winning another easy game.

 

We were never in the mix mate!

Only ever going to get 7th, 6th at best which we are just about still going for.

 

We will get fifth, Chelsea focussing on cups and Everton will soon fall.

 

I'm going to take leave of the pessimism here. Off for some old school GTA, VICE CITY STYLE!

 

We may very well fall but It will take more than just us falling for you to get 5th you will have to win some games as well like home to West Ham for example...And either Arsenal Chelsea or Spurs would have to capitulate for you to nick 5th you may catch /overtake us but you will go no higher

 

I highlt doubt we will finish about Chelsea.

They may drop points but we are very likely too also.

 

9 points off 4th, possibly 10 if Arsenal win their game in hand. Only 18 to play for, it really isn't going to happen.

We can certainly catch Everton, only 3 points behind, but the gap to 5th is too big.

 

Never thought we'd get fourth but I still maintain that we'll finish above Everton.

 

Would be happy enough with 6th considering how inconsistent we've been.

Hopefully we'll have a good summer and we can push on from there

 

Inconsistency is why you are where you are. BR does not seem to have the solution to that problem.
