I didn't think we lacked composure in midfield necessarilly I felt we lacked urgency towards the end (Gerrard, Sterling and Suarez apart but then obviously they were fresher legs). What we lacked was composure in the box at both ends especially up front. Borini is looking less and less ike the answer to our striker issue, Downing needs a volley up the arse with a size 12 and Assaidi faded badly after the break.
Hey guys... I really enjoyed the game last night despite the result. in a way rodgers was right about what he said but the reality is he made a bad sub to put gerrard on for henderson to fix the issue. shelvey is good at going forward but he'd switched off and putting both gerrard and shelve yo nthe pitch meant the cover disintegrated. gerrard played a ball through a udinese player towards suarez when the left wing was wide open and an easy ball.... they cut it out and hammered it home... 3-1 down.
