I have not been impressed today, I think we have been ****ing sloppy and will be lucky to walk away with our lead in tact

 

I'll take that. Plenty of play well and get sod all matches this season, play poor & get 3 points? Due one of those.

Job done, but we should have been way out in front going into the last 20...Poor finishing again.

 

May not have been the best of performances but it was just what we needed, home win 3 points.

 

A win is a win is a win. I was expecting a few more goals, but three points and a win at home is good enough for me. Right then, let this be the first match in an unbeaten run that lasts until at least Christmas.

 

Well, if you had given me the option of a 6-1 or 1-0 before the game, I'd have taken 1-0. Can't underestimate the clean sheet, just a shame it wasn't Pepe in net (not complaining about Jones, he had a good game)

 

i'll take the three points ta. not the best game, we let reading back into it in the second half but glad we held on.

saying that though i thought the back four did a great job protecting jones. only one real save to make that i can remember...

 

And we're up to eleventh!

 

Credit to Jones - very reliable and made some good saves.

2nd half was extremely poor and Suarez was guilty of missing chances yet again. Lacking that killer instinct.

But we got 3 points and another clean sheet!!

 

Not the greatest performance but a win will take as many of them we can get

 

If Suarez could shoot he'd be a 40+ goals a season man

 

Also, it looked Gerrard remained very disciplined. Didn't try the hollywood ball all the time and passed efficiently.
