This is where it gets a little confusing with what's going on. If you take it that Sturridge coming in only made up for the fiasco last summer then cole going along with sahin then that's two more players we are light. Rogers has said numerous times that the squad is light so if he bought two more in now we would only be where we are other than they would hopefully be better quality than what's gone. So we are no further along in filling out the squad. If it doesn't happen this window and it may not,then they will have to spend some decent money in the summer. They also need to make them early as with the exception of Sturridge , we seem to drag our heels over other potential transfers .
