Naaa, the banging tunes, happy atmosphere, Christmas tree and additional drinking sessions. Maybe you're getting old....!
I think we would be able to pretty much write our match report now seen as how, the majority of all our home games are generally following the same pattern. It will start with us dominating and creating lots of good chances, the rest will depend on whether we convert a few of them or not. Really hope we get the win though. Would be more confident if it was not on the tv, no idea why i dont want it on the tv as fairly sure we will have won as many as we have lost in front of cameras but hate being on espn
My prediction: Dominate opening twenty minutes > score > back off > concede > HT > apply pressure for opening fifteen minutes > no joy > bag a lucky goal in last ten minutes
Double time.... Hope all are enjoying their break, won't be back on til much much later or tomorrow possibly. please log in to view this image
No striker on the bench yet again. And Downing starting. Happy with Suso starting and Cole nowhere to be seen though. Plus we've got our strongest back 4 back now, lets hope they prove that with a strong performance. And Allen/Sterling being rested will only be a positive for later on in the season.
Liverpool team to face Fulham. Reina; Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Enrique; Lucas, Gerrard, Shelvey; Suso, Suarez, Downing. SUBS: Jones, Carragher, Wisdom, Henderson, Sahin, Allen & Sterling. - Rodgers indicated that he felt Raheem Sterling & Joe Allen needed a rest and they have got it. Both are on the bench. The midfield three is Lucas - Gerrard - Shelvey. Suso also gets a start with Suarez & Downing/Enrique in the front three.
Fulham team to face Liverpool. Schwarzer; Riether, Hughes, Hangeland, Riise; Dejagah, Karagounis, Baird, Richardson, Kacaniklic; Berbatov. SUBS: Stockdale, Senderos, Briggs, Tavares, Frei, Kasami & Rodallega. - Looks like a 4-5-1 for Martin Jol & Fulham today. Berbatov up top on his own and two ex-Liverpool players start. Riise at left-back & Kacaniklic on the left-wing.
We're gonna dominate the game, create all the chances. Gonna have two dodgy decisions go against us, we're going to hit the post once and we're going to lose 2-0.
