We've been excellent so far. Limited Fulham to almost nothing and we've controlled the game. Downing has been excellent and we deserve the lead we have. Taken our chances which is a nice change!
Fulham not pressing at all, have been played off the park. Downing having his best game in a red shirt. Lucas has dominated. Gerrard looks much improved playing deeper ahead of Lucas but behind Shelvey.
**** performance this, played much better against Villa and Downings been annonymous all ****ing game.
Hope so but seems unlikely at the moment as we've slowed down a little bit now and are just seeing the game out. Saying that Gerrard had a decent chance just them but it was from a narrow angle.
Good stuf! Finally I can go out tonight without feeling depressed and having to explain to my mates why we keep losing! I'm desperate for Gerrard to play better. He's not been all there is season. Two goals in two for him now.
