    I'm going to stick my neck on the line here and say Downing will have a good season. He's looked positive this season, already got a goal under his belt and with a season under his belt he's had time to gel with his new team mates.

    Borini with a shocking effort there...

    Good link up play between Gerrard & Suarez. Suprised he's starting tonight after the Olympics but he looks sharp. Hopefully he doesn't pay for it later on in the season though.

    Excellent play from Downing again, unlucky from Borini.

    Brilliant from Suarez, he does the difficult things so easily and just lacks that natural ability to put the ball away which is a shame.
