Joe Allen collects the ball off of Agger and turns to find Shelvey. Shelvey plays a clever 1-2 with Gerrard and takes it forward. Oh and thats a great ball forward to find Dempsey. DEMPSEY!!!!! ITS 2-2, AND ITS ALL DOWN TO ON MAN.CLINT DEMPSEY!!!

Shelvey has got a cracking right foot. Hope he gets more starts. We have done okay today possession wise but we give the ball away far too much. Allen and Sterling look quality. Suarez played **** and should've been subbed. Diaby man of the match.

Suarez has been poor too... but we don't really have any other option... we need him to get back to his old self.

Surely it was down to Gerrard's great ball forward to find Dempsey? If it was that great it would have left him with a simple goal.. <whistle>

Great win today. I thought we were doomed when Cazorla scored, but once Dempsey came on we were fantastic. A bargain at £7million. You'd never think he was 29!! Great hat trick on his debut.

It was 5 mil. We bid 3 mil, it was rejected and then the br asked the board for 2 more and fulham accepted our revised bid of 5 mil (same as villa). Bargain for a guy who knows where the goal is

I think we have all gone on at great lengths about the lack of scoring options, but what about our backline or team defense in general? 7 goals conceded in 3 league games just doesn't really make the grade either.

How thin does our squad look, I know we freed up wages and brought the age of the team down but no Kuyt, no Maxi, no Bellamy, no Carroll, no options but Downing.

One plus from that debacle - we were consistent, we couldn't do anything with the ball or without it!

The thing that really upsets me was that there was no HEART in that side at all. I've seen many poor Liverpool sides but they all had fight in them. This shower don't. This is going to be a long hard and upsetting season.

Was wondering if I was the only one who noticed the lack of desire in the team. First goal ( as an example) yes Gerrard gave the ball away but Gerrard and Johnson were slowly jogging back. Had Johnson worked his ass off, podolski doesn't even get the ball.

Second goal, yes Reina had another howler, but Jonjo decided to leave none other than Santi Cazorla alone, leave his man and just walk back to the 18, downing could have slid over a bit but Jonjo just let him go. No work rate it seems.

Joe Allen though, top top class. Diaby ****ed us hard today as well.

Posted this in the Arsenal thread but your team is good, just gotta get another striker so you don't have to rely on Suarez too much. Your midfield is really good and Raheem Sterling had a top top game today, so you should have a good season this year I reckon.
