    I will say this though ( If no injuries) you are a professional footballer at one of the top clubs with top facilities, doctors, equipment etc. After this game, every single one of those players should be well rested and bodies rejuevnated for the game. 2 days rest is plenty in October for me. Now if one of them gets injured well that is a hard line but I would probably be a bit aggrieved ( looking at Gerrard, Agger, johnson)

    Players need at least 3 days between games. So CL game on Tue means league game on the Fri before. EL game on Thu means league game next Mon

    Only 2 recovery days means 40% less chance of winning next game because of scoring 70% less goals & conceding 75% more goals in last 30min.

    Gotta love the guy, his own goal v Burnley is one you can look back at and laugh now. He's done alright to go from Charlton & Portsmouth to Marsaille though.

    team news proves RHC correct! i thought it might

    VERY worried about midfielda nd i think if they don't play properly we'll get cut open. all 3 are not only attack minded but don't track down very well and we need guys to sit and keep with the ball, not charging 20 yards up the pitch.

    stay with the ball is not defensive, its up with the attack when we are up the pitch and taking a pass facing thier goal but its also being able to get back in fornt of the back line when a break occurs.

    Just seen the line up and not really surprised as this is a must win game and surely with mixing a few subs most of the players playing tonight will be ready for Sunday the only thing we don't need is injury's
