If he has been pulled out we have 2 strikers in the squad Borini and Morgan. Which is a bit worrying.
According to Ben Smith, one of the football reporters for the BBC, the official line is that he has a slight groin strain which obviously we wouldn't want to risk by playing him.
Can't wait to see how the team performs in our first competitive game under BR. We need to be patient with the team / squad / Brendan - as he's said it's going to take time. I've seen quite a few things I don't like, but I' going to do the LFC thing and advise patience and support. This is one of the reasons I've predicted a draw. Also, I'm always negative with predictions - I tend to forcibly rebel against my inner fan which keeps yelling that we'll win every game. In tonight's game I hope to see good possession, passing, passion and, hopefully, less woodwork and more netting!
I predicted a draw as well with the main reason being I am not sure I can see us scoring after watching a couple of the pre season games we didnt create many chances.
That last part for me, I think for the most part we have seen a good deal of everything else above ( Even with youngsters, reserves, first team, people missing, etc) but we have got to find some ways to start scoring!
Depending where you are depnds on the channel, if you can watch it online properly ( bbc) or firstrowsports it which is a personal savior of mine.
I do enjoy sopcast, TVU, Tv-links, wiziwig, lemon sport...... I mean, I pay for all of my cable and wouldn't dare think of doing something like that.
