If Suarez had a bit more pace about him, wooft. For the neutral, good game. For us, our defending has been pretty poor and looks like the game got to some of our players.
At the moment Everton are just much more physical than us, wrong match for Suso and Sterling to be in really. Also I think Shelvey needs to come on really, just for his sheer enthusiasm, Sahin looks lost when we're not on the ball.
I don't think Downing needs to play defensively today. He was **** defensively against Anzhi, too many risky passes picked apart through the box. We'd get eaten alive by Jelavic and Mirallas if he came on. Assaidi on for Sterling, get the defense in that room and throw everything at them. Get them relaxed, focused, and we should be fine. The midfield needs to step up, keep possesion for a while.
Our Midfield has been terrible, we cant keep the ball for the 1st time this season , we arent pressin them with the ball at all .Suso has been excellent,dont think hes give the ball away all half,Agger,Suarez,Skrtel good too.The rest need to f**kin wake up
I'd love to be the post match interviewer and just say to David Moyes... so, Phil Neville, are you going to give him an internal 6 match ban for his dive or is it only foreigners that should be punished for that? After going 2-0 up, we made a stupid mistake to let them get back into it. Should have held firm for 10 minutes and we could have taken control of the game but as it is, their tails are up after getting back on level terms. Suso, Sterling, Sahin haven't had enough of the ball to influence the play. Wisdom isn't playing too well but not sure who can move out there if he comes off - wouldn't want Carragher/Skrtel to play at RB though. Maybe downing at LB and Enrique across to RB?
