You're spot on. For all the abuse Suarez gets, I've no problem with him taunting the opposition when he scores. That's as long as he doesn't cross the line. Steven Gerrard holds his ear when he scores against Everton, I've no real problem with what Gary Neville did at Anfield a few years back, he endured years of abuse from Liverpool fans who taunted him about being the result of incest. I also believe that Robbie Fowler was justified in taunting Everton fans who for years called him a drug addict. Robbie Fowler was also justified in taunting Manchester United fans whilst at City by giving the finger salute and doing the ''Mourinho'' after scoring the winner in the Manchester derby. Then there is Wayne Rooney, again I've no problem with him giving it back to Liverpool fans when they continually call him a ''fat bastard'' and mention his altercations with whores and grannies.
I did actually predict a draw (2-2 with Suarez to score) on the prediction thread though. Got me seven points
I think we should be looking for something like 18/27 here - no-one should be able to take the Reds at Anfield, and bar the Spuds, we should be good enough for at least draws at the away clubs, excepting QPR, who are so awful we should be looking for bonus points and 70% possession. IMHO, natch...
I agree with everything that has been written. We should treat the games against QPR and Southampton as games where we can improve our goal-difference,
But most clubs are leaving Anfield with points this season. The facts are this isn't a good team. Maybe we can get more than I predicted, but judging by this season it is unlikely.
