Don't fancy Carra against Walcott I must say.

 

He will be out wide to begin with. Giroud will cause some trouble with his size I think.

 

What the **** is Skrtel sub for .... he should be first name on the team sheet every game

Szczesny; Sagna, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Gibbs; Ramsey, Wilshere; Walcott, Cazorla, Podolski; Giroud.

SUBS: Mannone, Jenkinson, Koscielny, Santos, Diaby, Rosicky & Oxlade-Chamberlain.

 

I like that side of him and still feel he has a lot to give. I also worry that if Carzola or Walcott skip away from him in the box he may cost us a pen.

 

To be fair, I would maybe worry more about Skrtel and his tendancy to grab hold and not play the ball at times.

 

Ramsey in midfield for Arsenal. Cazorla, Wilshere, Walcott, Podolski and Giroud all in too.

If we win I think I'd actually be truly happy

 

Glad BR's not been afraid to drop Allen for the big game - recognising he is out of form and Henderson Lucas Gerrard has been a good 3 some so far.

Downing has been alright the last few weeks, but not outstanding. Time for him to have a real stand out game I think.

 

Anyone got a decent link to the match....I'm somewhere in deepest darkest netherlands and can't get sky :/

I think both sets of fans need a win fairly badly for morale more than anything. Interesting game though, seems to me readiing our match threads that we both are worried about our defenders being able to handle the other side's attackers. Could all depend who winns the midfield and gets a chance to run at the other's defense the most.

It may depend on who can get the ball to their forwards' feet!

 

I think most Arsenal fans are to worried about Suarez and not worried enough about Gerrard, he's been his old self of late. As the home team I see you having much more of the ball, it should be a great game but seeing as we've not beat a team above us this season I'm not that confident, still, that has to change some time.

Worried about your front three, all three of them are scoring goals at the moment.

Think we need the win for points more than moral (as obvious as that sounds?)

Just looking at the league we've taken 18 out of last 27 points available and lost only once in last 4 which was away to United.
You on other hand have taken 16 out of same 27 available but only won once in last 4 against Hammers losing and drawing the other.

Obviously our lack of wins against teams above us is a concern, but that has to change at some point.... right?
