**** from shelvey. Our "old" round of youngsters are all pretty duff to be quite frank. Henderson, Carroll, Shelvey, Pacheco. ALl a damp squib compared to the potential shown by Sterling, Suso, Morgan and Wisdom
Anyone else think we really havent had any sense of ugency these last 10 minutes or so? I mean we had the ball and created some chances but it juist seems very lethargic still?
Whats the point, he's had it, he will never fulfil the potential now at his age that he was supposed to have had. He will be sold, as BR tried to do when swapping him in deal for Dempsey
3 mins left and we still want to just be safe? got to go a bit, think the announcer said it " get in the box" give it a chance.
This team looks like what it is; 1 old fogey with those only at reserve pace standard. This is top gear for a lot of them. Will take away that Wisdom, SusoCoates & Shelvey got more European experience & our reserves didn't get embarrassed, largely because the other team was asleep.
Well for me even though it was a **** game, I think Suso showed why, when he plays with the first team, he should not be out side but as the AM. Brilliant there for me.
Am I the only one who thought we were terrible tonight? I mean it was fine when it was 0-0 when we were playing for a draw. But when you go 1-0 down you expect to atleast create a few chances, we hardly closed the ball down, we lacked urgency and we fell apart when we moved in to the final third. Obviously it was a inexperienced, youthful side and I'm sure they'll learn a lot from it, it's just so frustrating watching us some times.
