Just seen the highlight on MOtD, on another day we could have scored 3 goals ourselves. Certainly we can keep our heads held high.

 

If you look at the stats it suggests that 3-1 was very harsh, though they do say Man City probably deserved to win.

 

All if's and but's. If Ba's effort had gone in and HBA's effort had gone in we could have come away with the three points.

 

Yeah I'd agree with that. They probably deserved to win by the odd goal. If it'd been 3-0 it would have been very harsh on us. A case of what might have been if we hadn't made a couple of errors. But hey, 7 wins, 4 draws, and 1 defeat - who wouldn't be ecstatic with that?

 

So you agree with the stats to me personally 3-1 was probably about right, though the more I think about it the more I start to think it might have been a little harsh. Would have took that at the start, City were awesome today and as has already been stated here will go the season unbeaten.

 

Man City will be beaten this season, there are too many clubs capable of beating any team on there day. And if they get the league sown up early then they'll start resting players if they're still in the CL and even to give their EURO 2012 players a bit of a break. They won't want them playing 60+ club games then in an international tournament then coming straight back to a new domestic season. Someone will have them one day I think.

 

Don't know if anyone has said it already but I think it's time to move Ryan Taylor out from left-back.

He cost us 2 goals today and that was key.

 

I think any fan that thinks at this stage of the season they have anything sewn up needs a reality check, the games below only take us to Christmas, i don't think my nerves can take much more.

In all seriousness though, you DO have a bloody hard run of games coming up.. but for each game it's difficult to look beyond you to come out on top at the minute.

 

Acid my earlier comment was aimed at Pauls post as he corrected one of your fans over the name of your stadium, looks like he dropped a bollock as he got it wrong also.

To be honest i am not thinking too far ahead, having supported City all my life i know we are well known for dragging defeat from the jaws of victory, if we have more games like QPR and ours yesterday i can see me having to go to the doctors for some pills to calm my nerves.

 

i'm sure we have plenty of heart pills/spays we could give you a couple
