Barton caught ball watching for their goal, then again Williamsons header clear was woeful aswell, cant really blame Simpson for it.

Our team is screaming out for two good strikers, Lovenkrands and Ameobi simply cannot cut the mustard at this level, particularly Lovenkrands whos been abysmal, I would get Ranger on with Shola and try and bully their defence with strength and power, just load balls into the box until one sticks, because we dont seem to be able to string two passes together playing on the ground.

Enrique doesnt look interested but has had an alright game, Simpson constantly out of position as usual, Nolan non existent as usual.

Fun times.

 

Jonas won't get much chance to do that. I wouldn't be surprised if Carragher is playing RB for the second half, and Jonas won't have a chance against him.

I hope we get Ranger on for Ameobi sooner rather than later. It amazes me that he's still HERE. He should've been off(Stoke/Ispwich) years ago. Ridiculous how long he's been here and he's never really cut the mustard at a consistent basis. Ranger and Ferguson I'll like to see at some point or even Raylor to give us some width. Raylor/Ferguson on for Nolan and move Barton in the centre. Simples
