They're desperate to not give us a compliment here! We've dominated possession here; "Yeah, I suppose they've started to come back into it with a bit of ball retention"

**** off man, if we'd have got an early goal and Liverpool had had the majority of possession they'd be talking about it being a matter of time until they were on level terms!

    why is Ameobi still on?

Ferguson on for Jose, Ranger on for Ameobi at half time.

How is Ameobi playing in the Premier League? And how did he make it as a pro footballer? He's out of his depth in this league. Championship is were he'll be a monster! Donkey's never change do they?

Edit: I LIKE Ameobi, just don't think he's up to a standard anymore were he can regularly start. He was a beast back when he was younger though and we were challenging for Europe. <ok>

It's frustrating because we've had a lot of the ball but it just bounces of Ameobi everytime back to Liverpool. Jonas has played well, some of his crosses have been ****e mind.

    Maxi a goal machine?
7 goals this season, 3 of them coming in one match. Hardly a goal machine

It's a bit annoying that Gutierrez keeps getting boo'd for going to ground, but atleast he makes sure there is some contact. Maxi Rodriguez goes down like a sack of **** everytime someone goes near him.

"Taylor shagged your lass", great chant. Only time I've heard the bin dippers has been for a couple of cheers for Amy.

We're going to regret not getting a goal this half though, and unless Pardew brings Barton in-field to let Nolan attack I don't see us scoring.

We need more midfield strength, put Lovenkrands wide, Barton more central, Nolan behind Ameobi, a la Hughton.

An all fairness, he probably is. Jonas is great at that. He can play in a certain way and make certain moves where he knows that the defender is gonna put a foot in to try and get the ball, then he gets tripped on it and down he goes.

How the hell can Miereles get away with blocking Vartons corners from two yards away! Ridiculous!

Also, Jonas has got the beating of young Flanagan here, but he seemee to stop taking him on in the last 10 minutes and crossed early instead. Get to the byline FFS! It's what you do best.

    My opinion :

    Krul - OK.
Simpson - OK but looking shakey defensively.
    Colo - Same as above.
    Willo - Same as Simpson.
Enrique - OK but not looking ''himself'' today, to be honest he hasn't looked ''himself'' for a couple of weeks now.
Barton - Average. Deliveries have been poor at times & we don't have no natural width like we do with Guti, we have to rely on Simpson. Barton should be playing in CM next season replacing Nolan.
Tiote - A bit above average. Hasn't done anything special or spectacular though. I'll say he's been our second best player.
Nolan - Passenger. Should be impact sub next season. Don't think he's good enough if we want to be a team challenging for Europe & he's not getting any younger. Need someone more industrious and active to help out Tiote more defensive wise(Barton could be the answer for next season depending on the formation we play).
Jonas - Best player in our team. Has been giving Fannigan(there RB) a run-around a couple of times now & is looking a constant threat with his dribbling & skill.
Ameobi - Below average. Don't rate him anymore at this level. Keep as 3rd/4th choice next season though BUT sell if a decent offer comes our way from a Championship side.
Lovenkrands. The usual to be honest. Works hard but lacks that ''quality'' to make the difference. Same with Ameobi to be honest.

Some do! I turn them inside out on the first sunday and change them completely a week later!

Seriously though he is ****e today, along with most of the rest of them. I don't care if it seems like a risk get Ferguson and Ranger on. They can't do worse that Lover and Amadonkey.
