    On the train back to New Street there were a fair few Villa fans having a right moan. Saying that McCleish should've started Albrighton and that Banan wasn't up to it. They were predicting a long season, with McCleish having been brought in to reduce the wage bill and keep the club around mid-table on a shoestring. One even said "we can forget about the top 6 this season", no **** mate! He genuinely sounded like he thought that was a realistic expectation for them at some point this season.

    Top 6 <doh>, there are surely only 6 teams who could look at top 6 and they are last years top 6. Arsenal will come good.
