Reason I support LFC cause I was Rush in the playground, slotting away a hat-trick most lunchtimes.

I think the term plastic should relate more to how somebody support a team. For example, if your team is losing and not doing much in terms of success and that person prefers to go and play snooker, golf, spend time with the mrs, etc. But then the team starts winning and gets to Wembley they are suddenly there to support 'their' team. These fans get on my nerves!

Correct. A proper fan whether from that place or not follows their team through the good and bad.

It's even worse when you see these 'fans' switch teams when their old team stops winning and thir new team starts

 

Interesting, so you're not from Liverpool and you started supporting the club during the most successful period in it's history. How rare for a 30 or 40 something Liverpool fan.

Fans that get on my goat, are the ones who say after one or two defeats, Kenny etc should be sacked. Carroll/Downing/Henderson/Adam are ****. Then after a win it's all roses.
