You spelt Twat wrong Edit : I notice there is another Dave on the Norwich board ( currently on the United cross thread ) - I wonder if he knows Davina
I'm trying to decipher what you're on about mito but I'm taking a guess here that Swarbs has said you'll win the FA cup? Anyway, by way of tenuous connection, I have detected in interviews with Liverpool's players and the manager etc. a bit of a jumping of the gun assumption that the CC final will not be your only Wembley visit and that glory beckons on more than one front. This was before Sunday's final by the way, Sir St. Stevie of Gee also mentioned it . I think there might be a bit of fall on the way, there's **** all guarantee of beating Stoke for a start so let's not get all carried away. Like you did before coming across Braga when you'd all but won that tournament.
I'm certainly not taking anything for granted. I certainly didn't take anything for granted with respect to yesterday's game. I expected a tough game and got one. I posted somewhere last week that I really didn't want penalties the way we've been taking them this season and lo and behold - penalties. When Gerrard missed the first, I could hardly watch the rest. Yep, Stoke are no mugs and I really don't want another draw/extra time. I'm sure the players don't either.
Nope, just pointing out that if they do get to the final then the extra games will make it harder for them to overhaul the seven point deficit and get fourth spot, and could also make it hard to actually win the FA Cup if they still believe they actually have any chance of fourth spot. Therefore would it be better to put all their effort into achieving one rather than go for both and risk falling short on both. I for one would definitely rather crash out 10-0 to Bilbao and win the PL than have a great run in the EL but miss out on the PL by a point or two. Just wondering if any Liverpool fans felt the same about either of their options. Apparently not.
look at who's the quote above your "fail" to me post belongs to. what's up the wild mix of cheshire cheese & carling addled your brain, or maybe the sight of liverpool lifting a cup for the first time in a millenium far too much for you .... or maybe both?
Yes, so would I but the premier league is a highly prestigious trophy to win and fourth spot is, well, fourth spot. Fourth is the thing that Arsenal and Spurs squabble over like it is something to brag about. I can't make out what the **** mito is on about half the time and didn't read back to whatever you'd said that he'd garnered his wild assumption off. RedHC, I am chops. In another life.
Once again, that's a fail. I must admit I did down a good deal over my normal quota yesterday, combined with a number of herbal cigarettes
