But who else will send me to sleep? without his boring voice sending me to sleep before a match I would have to endure ITV's in-match commentary which is almost as bad!!
As we really don't want to destabilise Spurs, what with Harry's trial having such an obvious stabilising and bonding effect for them, I suggest that Hiddink maybe made interim manager and after the finals Redknapp gets his shot? I'd guess old Harry would quite like his shot at glory at this years Euro's though.
I thought Hiddink wouldnt be a bad shout.. Would still rather Arry did it though.. I'd quite like Ian Holloway to do it... Would be funny if nothing else. Others would be Hughton or Pardew..
Wouldn't be surprised if Hodgson was given a go by the FA. They'll go for Redknapp as first choice but I bet old Woy is in with a shout otherwise.
I don't give a flying fu.k. It just stinks. Anyway, on a humorous note. Apparently when the feline creature interrupted play on Monday night, the Kop spontaneously adapted an old song and sang "A cat, a cat, a cat a cat a cat". What quality
I agree its funny.... hilarious in fact and sweats concept of ian holloway tickles me pink.... i have to say though guys, hark back to mcclaren. this guy is a managaer ala redknapp and did ok in a lesser league. he coudln't organise a defense worth a damn and england failed to quality in 2008 yes? well guess what.... the reality of happy harry is he can't organise a defense worth a damn either... if redknap takes this on he's got the problem of nothing special in terms of attacking creativity (milner, downing, lennon etc) and then at the back its creaking. i'll predict now if he gets the job the first time england come up against a decent organise doutfit they'll get mopped. ala spurs in the cl qualifiers that time for instance.
Perhaps I'm just ctynical Rufflad, But Redknapp gets off and Capello walks ON THE SAME DAY. Just too convenient to be true.
With that in mind how many did Liverpool put past Spurs poorly organised defence on Monday 5,6, 7 ? 3 of those defenders were also English
Think that a tad harsh... afterall he managed to block out your world class attack last week with his second string 11.. I think any manager that comes in will have issues with the defence... as they are all crocks.. terry and ferdinand should be dropped. jags is not good enough, dawson not experienced enough, carragher resembles dusty bin, king cant play for more than 5 mins without painkilling injections into his eye balls, smalliing and jones are the future but i dont think are good enough yet... Cahill is o but again not really experienced enough of top opposition. What I do think is that arry will put together a good attacking side as our midfield and forwards are fine and we just try and score more than the opposition. ala kev keegan..
I have to say whoever it was walked into that one. Fair point. Then again, where was Spurs' ambition. Same old problem for us - couldn't put the ball in the net.
I cant believe i am actually talking about football... this would be my england side for the euros.. Hart Micah richards, Cahill, Dawson, Baines A young, Parker, Gerrard, A Johnson rooney, the black lad from chelsea in the squad walcott lampard wilshere oxlade chamberlain jones smalling a cole wellbeck milner maybes : Carrick, johnson,
You Liverpool boys and your conspiracy theories eh, I don't know. Next you'll be saying Wayne Roopney is trying to destbilise Spurs by saying he thinks Harry should be next England manager!! I think it's a coincidence myself, however convenient it might appear. Well, it's not really that convenient, as much as I'm mega glad Capello has ****ed off it does still leave England/Redknapp/Spurs with something of a dilemma now.
I think Smalling should be in for Dawson and Jagielka would be in my squad. I'd have Kyle Walker in as right back back up to Micah Richards and Jones could also cover this position, thus removing Glen Johnson from being a possible. If fit, Wilshere would play alongside parker at CM. Possibly Gerrard would also play there with Rooney up front supported by Young and Oxlade Chamberlain either side of him as my prefered formation. Welbeck, Sturridge and Walcott as back up forwards along with Bent. Nathan Dyer and Scott Sinclair of Swansea are possible squad players, and Holt of Norwich. Who would be reserve goalie?
