True, I think Spurs know they aren't going to catch City or Utd, but also know that no one is going to catch them as long as they play sensible and keep it together. Redknapp not being there maybe also caused them to err on the side of caution. If you ignore that pesky little Bolton humbling of course

Spurs looked decent in the first half without really threatening. Liverpool on top in the second - Spurs seemed to tire the longer it went on. Doesn't bode well for them with the injuries they have and their upcoming games - they might start to drop away and get caught up in the dogfight below them.
Just had a quick look at Spurs schedule - pretty harsh - they could easily be out of the top 4 by the end of March if a couple of other teams can get a run going.
Yeah. I think they looked composed tonighto on the ball. Was quite impressed in that sense. The top top teams will beat them though. They should get third but it wouldn't surprise me if Arsenal nicked it. Imagine that!
from what i saw bale, parker, walker and perhaps adebayor were carrying knocks too... who knows though... bench was non existant, a 33 year old saha and ryan half dead nelson? Utd beat stoke fairly easily without a lot of players and played well enough against us (better than spurs) despite our game plan giving them space on the ball deep. Overall..... spurs have a lot of quality but they'll have to bring it home.
