    Agreed Swarbs.

    I too think the 8 game ban is harsh but I fully expect this to be at least reduced on appeal.

    The whole thing could have been handled better than it has but from a selfish point of view I'm just pleased it isn't one of our players being made an example of for a change.

    Also, as stated in another thread, I do have some sympathy for Suarez (only a little though ) as it would seem it is a cultural misunderstanding which although doesn't excuse him it still makes it harsh that in the eyes of many now he will always be considered a racist as mud sticks.

    Yes I do, partly for the reason that Eric mentions above this, partly because I think the support will be outstanding, and partly because I thought we would anyway. We're playing well enough and if we can avoid the woodwork we might score a few.

    Well ok then. I think Evra deserves a medal for the way he has selflessly put himself in the media firing line to highlight this very important issue in our game. I would go so far as to say he is a true hero. The Jessie Owens of the 21st century, if you like. William Wilberforce would be proud.
