Are you suggesting diadora chap has never been to Liverpool? I suspect he hasn't. As surely he would know that Liverpool is the sports based leisure wear capital of the North West. Id wager most boozers in toxteth the inhabitants probably are all wearing the same stuff our dancing queen math is.

I personally find it distasteful insulting someone based on what may be budgetary constraints as to their attire. Liverpool isn't exactly the most affluent place in the world. I also don't consider it banter ripping someone for it.
